If you are in need of supplemental food assistance and are a Dedham resident, please contact one of the referral agents listed below. You will need to provide BOTH a valid driver’s license and proof of residency (utility bill, copy of rental lease, etc.) The hours to shop for food are every Saturday from 8:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. The number of family members per household will determine the frequency of your monthy shopping visits.
Households with 1 person shop 1 time per month.
Households of 2-4 people shop 2 times per month.
Households with more than 5 people shop 3 times per month.
Clients can select from a vast selection of non perishable items such as canned and boxed food items to fill 2 recycle shopping bags when they visit. In addition, many perishable items like fruit, vegetables, frozen meat, bread, pastries, milk, and eggs are now available depending on the weekly donations. There are also toiletries such as soap, detergent, toothpaste, shampoo and toilet tissue which are both purchased and donated for clients.
No Dedham resident will be turned away. After your first visit, you must have a completed “Referral Form” from one of the below agencies, on file with the panty in order to shop in the future.
